You can use Endear's handy +New Client button for customers who you meet but who may not have purchased yet. This can be a great way to collect email addresses from customers you chat with while they shop or at a store event. 

First, click on the New Client button

Then fill in the details about the client - only one contact method (e-mail or phone number) is required to save the contact - and click Save. 

Contacts you add via this button will automatically also be assigned to you.

Once you click Save, you'll be brought to the client's profile page, where you can add additional details about them, either using the fields on the right, or the Notes section. 

If you are collecting multiple contacts at once, use the Save & Add Another option in order to create a new customer entry instead of being taken to the client's profile page.
