Open vs Done For Now Statuses

Endear helps you keep track of messages that need attention by automatically categorizing any message where the customer was the last to respond as 'Open'. You can use this status in your Chat platform as a to-do list of customers that you need to follow up with. 

Once you respond to a message marked as 'Open', the message will automatically be updated as 'Done for Now'. 

However, you can also manually update that message thread's status as 'Done for Now'  using the 'Mark As' button if for example the customer's last message does not need a response.
